Steak
  • 1.5 –2lb Flank stea Room temperature
  • 1 tsp Salt Adjust to taste
  • 0.5 tsp Black pepper Freshly ground
  • 1 –2 tbsp Olive oil For cooking
Chimichurri Sauce
  • 1 cup Fresh parsley Finely chopped
  • -4 cloves Garlic Minced
  • -3 tbsp Red wine vinegar Adds tang
  • 0.5 cup Olive oil Adjust consistency
  • 1 tsp Oregano Dried or fresh
  • 0.5 tsp Red pepper flakes Optiona
  • - - Salt To taste
  • - - Black pepper To taste

Equipment

  • 1 Grill or Cast Iron Skillet for cooking steak
  • 1 Tongs for flipping steak
  • 1 Sharp Knife for slicing
  • 1 Cutting Board for resting and cutting
  • 1 Mixing Bowl for chimichurri sauce
  • 1 Meat Thermometer for checking doneness

Method
 

Step 1
  1. Finely chop parsley and garlic, then mix with red wine vinegar, olive oil, oregano, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper to make the chimichurri sauce.

  1. Let the chimichurri sauce rest for 10–15 minutes to develop flavor.
